Hello There.
I am new at this. But I finally got a approval from Juarez. Then I called and was told that my pick-up date is OCTOBER 9..Boy that a long ways..Yeah! They say at least you got a date. I guess I am kind of up-set because my husband is
59 years old and has Asbestos(fiberglass) in his lungs which was cause because of the work he did in Mexico. He needs medical attention, he has been to the Doctor in D.F where he lives now. But they keep telling him all kinds of different
diagnoses. They even wanted to operate on him without doing any kind of analysis. I advised him (more kind of yelled at him.) NO!
He have great insurance through my job (State of CA) in the U.S. His Doctor is waiting for his return to give him medical attention he needs. It wouldn't have been so bad if it was a month, but 3.. I e-mail Ted Kennedy and the President of the United States to ask for help. If it can help my husband prolong his life
and get the attention (medical) he needs I will write to GOD!
Well Thanks for letting me rant for a minute.

Ohcelia you can contact the consulate and ask them to expedite your pick-up date due to your husband's condition. One of our other members, Madrika, was able to have her's expedited...perhaps she can guide you in the right direction but you could start by emailing them: cdjimmigrantvisas@state.gov

Congrats on your approval and good luck!

Congratulations of your approval. MADrika, is a person that you will want to contact, you can PM her to find out what you can do to get your appointment moved up. If I recall she faxed medical documents to the consulate.
