My brother and I went to a bully dog club get together this weekend. We had so much fun. My brother was actually relaxed and I was actually around people that I have things in common with. Anyway, he has a rat terrier named Spanky. A spoiled little brat in need of a companion in my opinion. Well my brother was determined to find a pup. Well we did. We found one in the paper and went to go look at her. Well let's just say her living conditions weren't what they should have been. So his heart melted and he brought her home. But he forgot to tell his wife. Well he didn't forget he just wanted to surprise her.
So the puppy stays at my house and my sister in law comes over the next day. We eat dinner and hang out, watch a movie and he tells her that the puppy that she has been in love with since she walked through the door is hers and she flips out. She starts screaming and cussing, scares the puppy to death. My dogs got upset. My husband went and hid in the bedroom. I grabbed the puppy and took her in the bedroom. She just continued to rant and rave and just would not lay off. I guess it was too hard for her react calmly. She told my brother a couple of weeks ago that she wanted to get another dog. And evidently now she doesn't want one. He wanted to surprise her but I guess this is the surprise gone WRONG.
I feel so bad for him. His heart is breaking and so is mine because I can't keep her I have 2 and one on the way here today. I don't know what to do. He said he has to sell her or else. She told him it's her or the dog. Well that's messed up and I think it's just her way of getting out of there. I don't know how to help him. We can't take another one too. I mean we can but my husband is already bending with the new pup. He thinks I've lost my mind about it. lol But he did pay for everything, so yeah he still loves me.
I feel really bad about the puppy. Her name is Darla and she is a sweety pie. She turned 7 weeks on Monday. Sweet baby. I just want to cry. Here's her first portrait. lol That's my baby girl. awwwww
