8/6/07: Waiver Approval postmark 8/15/07
8/22/07: Waiver Approval letter received
8/31/07: Email from CDJ that Open Appt. sent
9/4/07: Open Appointment Letter Rcvd (postmarked 8/31/07 from Texas)
9/9/07: Arrive in CDJ for Open Appt
9/10/07: Go to Open Appointment. Asked to return at 3:00pm. Arrived at 3:00pm, asked to return following day.
9/11/07: Returned to Consulate. Asked to return later in the day. Returned later in the day, asked to return the following day. Still waiting for visa!
9/12/07 - RECEIVED VISA!:D:D
9/14/07 - Entered the U.S. :thumbup:
9/21/07: HAPPILY MARRIED!

Can I ask why you were asked to return.. not trying to be nosy I guess I just want to know if they were too busy or if it was other problems. I want to know about how long we´ll have to be in CDJ.

You guys are also from San Diego? Us too. My wife and our little one stayed in Tijuana. I take it you stayed in Tecate?

After 14 months of staying in TJ, I wanted out but now that we are back home, I do miss TJ sometimes.....weird
