documents in your and spouses names?

SO what documents do you all have in both your names?
Were waiting for the interview and im not sure if we need to take documents that are in both our names? I dont have hardly anything in both our names since hubby doesnt have a social.. no place will add him without one...
all credit cards are in my name, i was able to add him to two cards but the bills are all in my name...
all house bills are in my name since they require social, phone is the same
cant add him to insurance bc he doesnt have a liscence

the only thing his name is on is the Car title.... is there anythign else i can add him on that they wont require a social?

i never understand how all these people have their hubbys on everything wehn i couldnt get him on anything...becaue of your same reason..we are very much alike ;)

same here all the bills are under my name but the bank can add him to your monthly statement i added my hubby just with his dui from el salvador but not every branch did it i had to go to another one but its possible.

i did add him to my car insurance policy without a license it was a little more expensive but i did it for the same purposes..

but yeah, the bank, car insurance...you know i also added his name to the gas company but his name dosent come on the bills but i should call them but yeah i did add him becuase they asked me..

you can always add him to your credit card right underneath your name..my hubby has 2 credit cards of his own with his name on them only

I was able to add him to my health, vision, and dental insurance at work. He is also the beneficiary of my life insurance.

I have him on random things like Netflix - where he is a user on the account. We dont have any bills together, but he is on my insurance (he has a license through MI). Joint lease? The lease is currently only under his name adn his sister, but we will be changing it to my name and his.

Joint bank account was open with his ITIN #. I'm not sure if they ask for SS on bills in NJ, but he has cable, electricity, and gas all in his name only. I dont think you can have it in two ppls name, I'll have to look into the utilities.

my insurance wouldnt add him at all... Then when they were going to raise my rate i just told him hes in el salvador waiting on his paperwork..
hes on 2 credit cards..
He is on one of the house bills but his name doesnt appear...
DO you think I have to worry abotu this for the interview then?

also people are talking about taking pictures for the interview and letters.. What are you guys taking????
all ours are in scrap books can we take thoses?

I think scrap books are great! I'm actually working on putting one togehter so we will have it ready.

okay just didnt know it had to be something that they could keep.. our wedding album is a scrap book.. then i have our 1st year dating scrap book.. and then our vacation scrap book...

I dont think they keep pictures at your interview. The only things they will keep will be evidence, so if you have pictures as evidence of hardship, then they would keep those.

hey ladies... i can also add him to my insurance at work policy but i dont have insurance yet withmy employer..

regarding your pictures...they will keep originals so dont be suprised if they take them but they will give them back. take as many pictures as you have the more the better... things that show you guys together or atlesst you and him at the same address..remember the purpose is so they can verify you guys have a ligit marriage..

i have albums that i will take...copy of bills and also i put his name on my check book so we can both write checks..

letters from people that know you and like your rental lease...just take copies of all taht...about letters from people i have heard that but im not too sure what those people are suppose to write...you know like the basic..

i never save any letters when they come in both our names whoops.... Prob not the smartest things now... Ill have to start saving them... I need to have a few friends mail things to us both then...

and now that I think about it everything that is ever sent to our house is has Erick on it... Which is his nickname.. Hes actual name is oscar.. but hes gone by erick since he was little.... i wonder if I should not that on my HSL

yeah i would i were you because that way they know and when they see 2 different names they wont say anything...just to be on the safe side.
