This was our first interview for AOS to conditional resident.

Our interviewer was not very friendly and that was a little nerve racking. She began by asking my husband all the questions that were on the I-485 and G-325 and marking them up.....trying to catch him lying. She wanted to know exact dates he started and stopped working for certain employers 2 years ago and he answered with a different month than what it showed on the G-325 and then she says"well it says here it was this month" He admitted he can't remember and I butt in and said we would need to sit with a piece of paper and pen and work it out to remember when he went from one job to the next. Anyhow she let it go but I don't know what she really thought about it.
I had to actually offer our evidence to her and she said ok i'll take it and she didn't even look at any of it. She just said she would review it all tomorrrow and make her decision. Our appointment was at 3pm and maybe she wanted to get out of there .... who knows.
She asked when we got married....exact date. Why we didn't have more people at courthouse ceremony.....because we are having wedding next summer. How did we meet?
I was kinda dissappointed; I expected her to at some point sit back and have a conversation with us about our life together and ask us things and let us talk but she was all business. Asking all her basics and then shooing us out of there. She said we should have an answer in the mail in 2 to 3 weeks. If approved she said the card will be with approval. She also said if she needed more info or evidence she would send letter requesting addt'l evidence.
oh god I hope we get approved!!!!!!!!!!

I am sorry for the IO that you had. It sounds to me like Yes she wanted to get out of there, especially if she said that she would make a decision tomorrow. In any event, I am sure everything will work out fine! Good Luck!!

maebird and husband, I am wishing you the best on this ladies approval. An interview on a friday right before "going home" time could be a good or a bad thing. If she wasn't friendly, I myself would be a bit worried, but then you never know. Try not to dwell on it too much and drive you crazy, because the decision will be what it is. You need your strength just in case you should not get approved.
Crossing fingers and toes, and hope that your nightmare will be over soon!!!!
Hugs!!!!!!
