Still not in the system

My husband had his interview on july 12 and guess what...duh...still not in the system in rome. They told him at the interview that he had to do fbi background crap before they sent it. I know that this is the system, but they have done like 8 million checks on him during his asylum and it just irks me bc none of that has changed. So i sit here just waiting for the day they actually get it thanking god that I can check it online. I hope I can keep myself from checking that website obsessively...so far so good. we'll see how it goes.....

The thing that I think bothers me the most is that there isn't any progress. I can take waiting once they have it in their grubby little hands. NVC wouldn't schedule his interview b/c turkey wouldn't issue a police clearance bc there was no record of him being there. The turkish conuslate even refused to deal with our lawyer and my husband had to do all of the work directly with the embassy in algeria. It took like 8-10 months to get that and I just felt so stuck and to get stuck at this point is devastating.

I've prepared myself mentally for another year of waiting....but it just sucks.

It's so frustrating! The checks expire, and then they don't get any faster considering they've already been done a million times! I know it seems like it will never end, but it does, think of that day!

Almost 3 months and still nothing. I feel like I can't breathe until Rome has that packet in their hands.
