View Full Version : When is the pilot program expanding?!

I just keep hoping that one day there will be an announcement that says Pilot Program expanded to San Salvador effective TODAY! Wishful thinking!

But in doing so much research and putting so much work into this, I wish I could just get a decision on the spot and not wait 6-9 months. I'm stressing over the waiver and I havent even filed the I-130!

you should get all your documents ready and a piece of advice...try to get his "solvencia policial" as soon as you can get it...it take like 3 to 4 months to get and you will need that as part of your last step and everything here moves fast...
your filling for your husband or hes filling for you??

I'm filing for him. We are both currently in the US, will file I-130 this month. Hopefully get approved within 6 months and then move on to NVC. Do you need solvencia policial for NVC or consulate? Also how current does it have to be, I'm trying to figure if I should get it now or when we move to NVC?

I feel you about the Pilot Program but I honestly don't think it will be expanding anytime soon! :(

how long as he been in the US?

i would say after you file and get your first couple of notice of action from the homeland security you should have your husband apply for it. it needs to be current but not that current because when you go to your interview you will have to obtain another one so dont worry about how current it needs to be..but do know that it takes like 3 to 4 months to receive so the sooner the better..

I feel you about the pilot program too, but honestly I dont think any other country will get it :cry:

our hubbys entered from el salvador around the same time... HEHE
