"USCIS reminds its customers to use the correct version of the Application for Employment Authorization (Form I-765) dated 05/27/08. The edition date appears in the lower right hand corner of the form as “Form I-765 (Rev. 05/27/08) N". Submission of an earlier version of Form I-765 may result in rejection of the application." Yes, that exactly what happened with me. The I-765 form was rejected due to the form being outdated.

Without knowing too much about this new work authorization I wanted to know if this would apply to someone already in the USA working illegally? Or is it just to ease the process of bringing in labor into the US?

In the top hand corner it says: Expires 08/31/08
Does that mean that there will be a new edition after that?
