Here's a pic (I hope) of my first ever quilt. This quilt would not have been possible without the help and patience of JennyM. She is a great teacher! This is a small lap quilt for my daughter's room that I finished in ONE DAY!!

We started cutting around 2ish and finished up the last little bit around 11:30 or 12, so about 10 hours. BUT, we did take a few breaks to make sure my 3yo wasn't killing the kitty kittens (her name, not mine) and to eat (Jenny's a great cook, too!!) so it was probably more like 9 hours. And remember, the last time I sewed anything I was in elementary school!
I didn't choose the colors arbitrarily, these are the colors in my daughter's room.

I'm still trying to teach myself to crochet but I haven't had time for that either let alone to make a quilt. I'm so jealous :innocent:
