i just got back from the interview and i'm approved!!!!
it went really fast and the lady was nice. she swore us in and then asked me (i'm a beneficiary) my address, phone #, when I came to US, if i was deported before, if i have any criminal record. She also asked us when we met, how long we were dating before marriage, if we lived together before marriage. She asked for my passport and his birth certificate (they lost certified copy of it that we sent along with the package). She also wanted to see any proof of us living together: bills, insurance policies, lease, etc. She reviewed it really carefully. Then she asked to see pictures. Didn't ask any questions about them, just looked thru them all quickly. Oh yes, she asked me if I work at the present moment.
My husband is a chatter box, so from the very beginning he established a nice friendly atmosphere and really did built a nice rapport with the officer. At some point he was asking her questions instead of her asking us any questions. He asked her how long she was in this positions, what are the requirements to get this position, etc..:) She was so nice as to refer us to a website where we can look for government jobs.
It seems she eventually got tired of my husband talking non-stop, so at the end she just kept nodding to what he was saying and then told me that she ordered a card production and i should receive it within 2 weeks.
yay:))))))))
i'm so happy
she also said the card will be unconditional since we have been married for little over 2 yrs.
fyi, i was out of status for 6 yrs and worked here all this time.
that was it
wish u all luck with your immigration endeavors.
