I am disgusted with the comments at the end of this article. What is wrong with people? I can't imagine not being with my baby if she got hurt this way.

this is so sad. It disgustes me also she is a 1 yr old and all they care about is money at the hospitals. They also should grant the mother permission to cross to see her baby. I dont know what is going on with the system anymore it is so crazy.

It makes me so angry that all they are concentrating on is the money. What about the mom who can't be with her baby?! This is wrong! I wonder if there is not some way....some body has got to be able to help her temporarily haev permission to cross! THis is just an atrocity!

Congressman Reyes was on a local radio show and said they are working on Paroling the mom into the U.S. so this is good news for them. Lots of prayers for this little one and her family.

People care more about making their opinions known to the masses rather than hoping the girl recovers without any problems. That shows the true character of a lot of people.

Also, obviously, the man knows he will have hospital bills, so it's kind of tactless of the hospital to remind him of that while his daughter may be dying, if what the article says is true.

I read this post yesterday and prayed all day for this little girl and her family, this is a horrific situation. The comments that some people choose to make about this family are terrible. It makes me wonder whats wrong with the world today. It just continues to make me sick.

WOW, I couldn't even finish reading the comments on the second article, people are so "not well informed" (to not say what i really want to say) I'm glad the mom was able to get a temporary visa. I really hope that little girl gets better. :(

How horrible! I'm glad the mother has been given "permission" to be by her daughter's side.

No mother or father should ever have to go through that on top of when their child is fighting for their life. I pray for the family and quick recovery of their little girl.
