As I posted earlier my husband I129 Petition was forwarded to NVC and they inturn forwareded it to New Delhi and I was suppose to get a packet from them which I have not recieved! I emailed them and they sent me a reply stating that it was mailed and we have to submit a list of documents before they can schedule an interview for him. Has anyone gone thorough the same procedure I am really lost! Thanks IN Advance for all your help.

I have no idea how New Delhi handles cases but did you ask if they could resend the packet or maybe fax or what exactly was it that they needed??

Can you provide dates of when these things happened? When was the I-129f approved and forwarded? When do they claim your packet was mailed? We've discovered that a lot of times, these things move slower than you would think is possible!

Did you check out this flowchart? It might help you to understand how long each step should take.

Sorry, I didn't know you were doing K-3 visa. Here (http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?autocom=custom&page=k3flow)'s the flowchart for that.

You've been waiting over a month for that packet. Definitely too long. You might try calling them to ask for it to be re-sent, like someone else suggested. Sorry it's taking too long!

Here is some information from www.travel.state.gov you can get embassy specific information.

http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3731.html

http://travel.state.gov/pdf/medical/NWD-MED-ENGL-0001-0802.pdf

Do see if you can get them to confirm the address they sent the packet to and resend it.
