I noticed that on the Mexico board they have a thread where everyone post links that they found helpful. I was wondering if anyone would want to do that for those of us in this section. I would offer but don't know how to put it together or anything like that..
But I think it would be helpful if we posted links to like income/ poverty/crimes etc that we can all use. save everyone time in the future...
we could organize it by country and so forth..

Im currently looking for information on El Salvador I just got started on my HSL so as soon as I have some info I will post it..
If anyone doesn't like this idea then please feel free to delete this post.
Thanks:wave:

I think its a great idea Nickole. Hopefully someone who has been approved is willing to help. It will be a combined effort. The link I sent you will be helpful with medical stuff etc. Good Luck!

Thanks.. Your actually the one I got the idea from.. But most of the information pertains to Mexico.. So I thought it would be helpful if we got one started for the other countries...
I know once I find information I would be more then willing to help out someone else. Saves time, and STRESS which we all need to have less of hehe.
Hope others are intrested in helping..

Simply Thanks Im sure everyone will appricate it..

I haven't looked but maybe you can start by sending a PM someone who has an approved HSL from El Salvador. Or maybe open a new thread asking looking for someone. Just a thought...

That sounds like a great idea. I will try to get my papers out soon and see what I can contribute. If I remember correctly, it was not so easy to find statistics for some El Salvador things.

What kind of letter is better?
Arguing on why you cant have your spouse gone for so long? Or.......
Arguing why you the us citizen cant relocate to el salvador???

Or....do both but kind of a combination???

I guess its based on case by case and you have to argue both sides, but I'm focusing more on why I cant live over there with him because I could technically live here by myself but I dont want to be separated - he's my husband (why dont they understand that).

I'm having a hard time because I dont have real health issues that I actually follow up with, or kids, or a house that I have to pay for, so I cant argue financial so I'm focusing on the why I cant live over there instead.
