OMG -- We were Approved

My son-in-law is coming home soon. He received the phone call from the Embassy this morning say our waiver expedite has been approved and that he can come in one day next week to get his visa.

He is coming home. We are so happy. This is one hurdle that we have been able to overcome with the help and support from everyone.

As some of you may know, we requested an expedite back on July 11. I don't want to go into the full details; however, I will say that things here have not been good for my husband since April and things have gotten worse since then.

I will say one thing though to each and every one of you. Please treasure your life and your loved ones and cherish them as if you may never see them again because your entire life can turn around for the worse in one day. We are a living example of this. Four months ago I thought I had everything in life that I ever wanted and most of these things were all material. However, life is teaching me a cruel lesson right now and I would give up everything and anything materialistic just for my husband to be better.

Thanks everybody for the well wishes. This was from the beginning of August and yes he is safely back home. The entire experience was extraordinary -- no horror stories to tell. And from the medical standpoint, things are starting to look a little better. Just keep the prayers coming because this is going to be a long ride.
