View Full Version : Question on how to find out about interview

Hello
How do I find out the interview date.. I called the NVC the other day, just went through the automated line, and they said hubby case was completed July 11. Do we have to wait for a paper from there for the interview? Or is there a seprate number I can call to find out on the interview? Do I have to speak with some? Sorry new to all this, I know it can take a month or so to get the interview but just want to make sure im doing the right steps to get the interverview and prepare us a little more.. :)
Thanks for your help oh yeah hubby is from El salvador...

Call press, 1 then 5 and speak to an operator. Ask to see if your appointment has been shceduled. Many of us have called and are still waiting. Your case was completed before mine. You may have better luck.

Well, I was calling everyday for a while. Then I got annoyed and call every other day. I dont think they are going to schedule any appointments until the end of next week. Hang in there, I'm sure you will be scheduled with us. Welcome!

after the NVC completes your case they send your file to el salvador and when they receive it then they send you a letter a month before you are to leave...thats what i have heard from other girls taht have already been to el salvador...

hey, this girl from univision forum, her husband was approved in 5 motnhs!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, thats great to know! I have yet to see an approved El Salvador HSL.

wow lets hope all of us get approved wtihin 5 months..
Tropical - I still havent seen an aproved HSL letter yet eighter..
I just gave my rough rough draft to our lawyer this weekend to look over im hoping hell think im off to a great start or can add change some things...

I cant wait to find out when hubbys interview is... I just want this process done and over with.. :)
