Well my waiver was received by Athens USCIS on JUNE 5, 2008. I emailed ROME USCIS two weeks ago asking for an expedited waiver.... TODAY this is the reply i got from them:

Dear Ms. X... Y... Z...,



Please be advised that your husband’s case was approved in Athens on 7/8/08 and sent to Beirut on 7/9/08.

CAN IT BE TRUE????? They kept telling me that Athens take up to 9 months to review and make a decision.... are they just playing with me??? I HOPE NOT!!!!
SO WHAT DO I DO NEXT???? no one mailed, emailed, or called us about the approval.... Does my hubby just go there and pick up his visa?????

I asked the senator to do me a request of expedite but he told me that they dont do expedite any more and that he only did an inqury....
I guess the inquiry alone was good enough :)

Well Athens sent out a letter to my husband which he did not recieve (post offices in his country are unreliable). They responded to my email. The embassy got in touch with my husband thru phone!!

Okay... it's been a week now and nothing yet!!!! they emailed me and told me that they recieved the approval and they needed two business days to print out his visa...... it's been 5 business days already and whenever i email them they tell me that they will call my husband the next day for his visa pick up.
this is so frustrating!!!! :gaah::gaah::gaah:
