Multiple EWI seem to be the cause for the bans but someone will let you know for sure. Good luck.

yes, you are banned for 10 yrs because of more than one yr illegal presence,
but do not worry, because you are elligible for the waiver ("perdon")
and having arrived as a minor and having been here so long will certainly be in your favor.
You are in the right place to get help in putting together a good hardship letter, and hopefully will be approved the same day once you have your appointments in CDJ.

drpeace, it sounds like you're fine. You are correct, for the purposes of your situation, they will calculate all the illegal presence from the time you turned 18 until you leave the US. This is a 10-year ban which can be waived when a qualifying relative files an i-601.
What Brisa is talking about is this: a year or more of unlawful presence at any age (counted from April 1, 1997), followed by leaving the US and returning without inspection leads to the lifetime ban that can only be waived after 10 years. This is not your situation, so it sounds like you're fine.
To be absolutely sure, gather all the facts you have about your case and consult with a recommended attorney like Laurel Scott or Heather Poole.

drpeace...we are in your same shoes. My husband came here with his mother when he was younger and we are starting to get prepared to file his paper work. Please keep us updated on how everything goes. Hope everything works out for you.

Yeah, you should be elgible for the waiver. My husband EWI in 2000 and he just turned 24. He was elgible for the waiver; we're just waiting that will hopefully be approved.

Yep,
Sounds like you are fine for an I-601 waiver for the illegal presence of more than 1 yr.
