Generally if your I-601 is approved, your I-212 is too. But the more complicated your case (ie, deportations, criminal record, etc) you may need to bolster your I-601 case.
Good luck!

We were only told to file the I-212, so will it go faster than someone with a I-601 and a I-212?

Sad Anita, you first need to state the facts in your husband's case clearly.
You said he entered illegally in 1990 when he was 17 and was deported in 1993 but was not removed until May 2007. Is this correct? If so, he will also need to file a 601 waiver for his illegal presence.

Basically, if he accumulated more than 365 days of illegal presence ever in the long time he has been in the U.S., he will need the I-601 as well.

An illegal woman entered the US illegally in 1988, when she was a minor, at the age of 17. She wanted to apply for the 1989 amnesty, but could not because she was a minor.
3 years later married a LPR, who physically abused her (she has police and court records)
She has a minor child who is now diagnosed with cancer, bipolar disorder and other mental problems. She is now married to a USC and I believe that she could obtain a I-601 waiver. AM i CORRECT? if so does she filed the I-130, I485 and the waiver together?
anyone with the same experience?
Please help

You will turn in paperwork for BOTH waivers during your interview in Juarez..... not before!!! NOT in the US but during his consular interview.....
I hope that makes sence...
Good Luck!

When did she married the USC? I belive if it was before 2001, she can qualify under 245i... and just do the AOS..(I485) If it was later, then do the 130 and wait for a consular interview at homecountry where she will need the 601for illegal precenses.......(assuming she qualifies for a 601 since she is married to a USC)
Good Luck!
