I got home today and had a letter from DHS Guatemala.
It is the approval of the I-601.
It says a copy of the approval has been forwarded to the counselor section in the embassy. Also, to contact counselor section for the VISA.
I called today but was given the call back Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday between 2:00 and 3:15 answer.
What happens now? Do we need to make another appointment or just pick up the visa?
My wife can't believe it, I scanned an e-mailed for her eyes to see.

We had expedited service for our son.
I did get assistance from Congresswoman Mary Bono, as well as Senator Dianne Feinstein.

This is the best, most wonderful news. Congratulations. In times of need, there are at least some good things out there that work out for the best and I am glad this was one of those times.
Go get your wife and your children and bring them home and never let them leave again.

Congratulations, I'm so happy for you and your family. That's amazing that you were able to get expedited servicing.
From what I've heard, your wife will just need to present herself at the embassy with the yellow paper she should have received when her visa was denied. She might need new police certificates, but perhaps not because her interview was so recent. Have they called your wife yet? Supposedly they will give her instructions over the phone.

They just called this morning, telling my wife to call back at 2:00PM today or come there on Monday before 1:00 for information.
My wife says now she knows its for real, thinking maybe they made a mistake.
So, I will call around 2:00 to see what instructions they give us.
Thanks to everyone.
