Waiving the fee?

I read somewhere that you can waive the fee for the N-400, is this right? I need to apply for USC now. Thanks!

Brisa - on the instructions it says:

If you are unable to pay thenaturalization application fee, you may apply in writingfor a fee waiver. For information about the fee waiverprocess, telephone the NCSC at 1-800-375-5283(TTY: 1-800-767- 1833) or visit our website at www.uscis.gov and click on ''Immigration Forms, Fees andFingerprints.''
