Hello,
Does anyone here know what the process is for getting a visa once your bar is over with? Is the I130 good forever? Can they still refuse a visa even though your bar is over and do you wait and wait and undergo yrs of background cks all over again?? Im so confused with this part.

Neverending, I thought the ban for your husband's application was Misrepresentation? Misrepresentation is one of the permanent (always needs a waiver) charges. Overstays are the ones with limits on the ban.

My husband said they told him 10 yrs. He never received anything in writting though according to him when I asked him. So now how do I find out??

When they did the original denial, they should have given him a sheet of paper that told what the denial was for. You can try emailing, or mailing them a request for what the grounds were. You said the letter mentioned the Misrep though?
If you hire an attorney, they will probably be helpful in getting that list as well. But if misrepresentation was the reason. . .
