Well you will get some more forms in the mail. The case will then be forwarded to the consulate in the foriegn spouse country and you will have an immigrant visa interview there, but if this is an EWI case you will be denied and then have to come back a few days later to file the I-601. This is assuming that you have can file a waiver and is not a 9(c) case.

I assume this is for an immigrant visa at a US consulate abroad?

Have a look at the NVC Process and Flowchart (http://www.familybasedimmigration.com/forum/nvc.php)

and also the Immigrant Visa Flowchart (http://www.familybasedimmigration.com/forum/immigrantvisaflowchart.php)

Hopefully that will help answer your question.

The DS-3032 Choice of Agent will be mailed to whatever address is listed for the beneficiary.

You can also email the choice of agent as soon as you know the form has been generated. This is not an official NVC option, but has been done by many many people over the past couple of years. See NVC Timesavers, Emailing your DS-3032, Knowing your Case (http://www.familybasedimmigration.com/forum/showthread.php?t=48)

Veronika, yes, the I-130 is automatically forwarded. You do nothing right now but wait for the forms to come to you. If you listed your current address for your husband on the I-130, that's where they'll send the Choice of Agent form. See my timeline below for what forms come next and the approximate timing. I am currently waiting to receive the visa application which the NVC recording tells me were generated on 8/27/07.
