Hi,
Okay, we are filling out the 601form.. one of the questions is the date of the visa?
Is that the interview date, when they rejected the visa.. ( a day I will never forget)
and where.. is the consultate in Montreal, correct?

One last question.. on the actual form.. Question #10..
Is that the reasons that they gave us at the interview as to why he was denied?
criminal record.. etc..

Did you get a denial letter stating the reason of the denial? At the visa interview where he was denied there should have been a letter or document given to you stating the reason.

we did get a letter, it just checked off the RCMP police certificate.. since it did not show in time.. but also noted that we had to do the I- 601..
he told us it was due to my fiance's criminal record ( from 15 years ago) and a concealing issue from July 2006
( Anil was in the middle of a name change.. and had name changed in England and not in Canada..) he has dual citizen ship.. these were the 2 reasons that they told us that he was denied. when he tried to cross the border, he had documents in both names. he was initially told he did not need to change his name in canada.. that turned out to be VERY wrong information. so here we are..
thank god for all of you!
So Iam completing the 601.. now.. We finally rec'd the rcmp police certificate this week. he is in canada and cannot enter the US and I am here in the US. I keep driving back and forth..
I miss him
