Chayton's First Birthday

It's already here! He's grown up so fast! It seems like only yesterday he was a 7.7 lb squishy faced little brown bear!

Aww acroiris I am getting that same feelin with my grandson I was looking at him yesterday and thinking damn I was putting him alseep in the weeee hours and look now he sits up and now screams at the top of his lungs!!!! He will be 1 October 1st of this year!!!!!!! I am excited!!!! I love this kid to pieces LOL!!! You'll have to post pictures of him here let me post a recent one LOL!!!!

How cute, Chula! Look at that big man! You need to head down here to Georgia and let us take his picture! LOL! I guess I just wasn't ready for his first birthday so soon. We had his birthday party yesterday. In my town, we celebrate July 4th the Saturday before (I know, I know. Apparently they get a deal on the fireworks that way.) The park is open for camping, picniking, grilling, waterskiing, and all that sort of goodness. They have a fireworks show at night on the lake. We camped and skiied and had him a little cake and ice cream party. Naturally, I told him the fireworks were just for him. We pulled him down to the lake in his red wagon for the fireworks. It was a nice day for us all. Here's his Easter pics. This is the website/blog of the photography studio where I work with my best friend Carrie. We'll be taking his birthday pics on Monday.

No, we didn't shave his head. He never needed it! He's naturally bald. LOL! My friend Carrie is the photographer. She's just immensly talented. Actually, she's one the best in the nation. She does wedding all over the county and even some international. Head on down to Georgia and we'll fix you right up with some pictures!
Poor Chayton has grown up with Carrie and I in his face with a camera. Next week, we'll do his formal first year pictures. They should be awesome! We have some neat ideas, but I can't spoil the suprise!

Resorting to bribary! You know that's when you are a grandma! I called my mom the other to day to run by my house and check the water in the crock pot, as I was cooking peas.
Me: Mom, can you run by my house and check on my peas?
Mom: Yes, I can go pick up the baby from daycare!
Me: Um...can you check the water in my peas?
Mom: Yes, I can go get the baby from daycare!
Me: Ok, yeah..go get the baby from daycare...
Mom: Great! I'll check on your peas on the way back!

LOL!!! that is so cute!!!!! Your MOM is smart! Hmm I need her name and number I need to start taking lessons. No really Kikka is good in the prospective I mean I get him when I really don't want him at the moment!!!! It's all good! I can't wait till he walks (thinking back did I just say that LOL) i want to take him places and have fun. Hubby says bring him to mexico in Sept I am not sure about that!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chayton just started walking about a month ago. Now he's running...all over everything. Did I mention climbing? Oh yeah, climbing too.
