For the few of you that are having problems with voting on a poll and get an error message saying something about a security token. Please empty your browser cache and see if that helps.

This also applies to searches.

It is the search I'm having trouble with.

I've tried emptying the cache in firefox and the temp files in IE, but it's not helping.

what template are you using?

I had the same problem but clearing all the temp/cache files helped.

Default

I've done all that .... closed the browser too..... still not working.... I will try doing all that and restarting later..... if that doesn't work I'll let you know.

Ok will do. I'll go check the default template and see but last time I checked the fix was already there.

Let me know for sure please.

Okay Marie here is the lastest info I have for you.

I tried clearing the cache/temp files and restarting. No change.

Then I thought, I wonder if all the templetes are this way.

So I checked them all and these are the ones that give me the security token message.

Blackhead
Cityflower
Kencana
Blooming
Postcard

Love and Horizon there is no problem, or any of the others that were there before you added templetes.

So no biggie, I will use love and horizon. But I wanted you to know what I had found.

I'll check those templates then and see if they are missing the edits necessary.

Can you explain how to empty your browser cache in Firefox? I'm pretty sure I know how to do it in Internet Explore, but I almost exclusively use Firefox these days.

Thanks!

Marie

recently? Have you cleared your files? What are you doing when you get it?

I'll double check the template but I don't get an error when i search the site or the thread.

You may have to actually close it and reopen it as well as clearing the cache. I did .

Hey Marie, I cleared everything on the work and home computer and I'm still getting the message every time I try to sign in...
Sorry to be a pain. What else can I try?

Marie

I get the security token thing when I try to go into my User CP too, so I'm not sure of the name. It's the one with the orange heading with a tree and fence. I thought maybe it was Cancun or something. I don't know.
