Now I am nervous. I wanted to only do the I-130, but hubby wanted to do the I-129F. We are moving right a long now waiting for the approvals on the I-130 or I-129F.

I'm still waiting for the NOA1 for our I-130. We mailed it August 14. I am hoping that it will come as a birthday present for my daughter (September 14). Hey, did you see the post I put up last night that said someone got their I-129 approved in 2 months through Vermont.

I hope you get it soon! My internet has been acting weird so I didn't see that. I have to go through California so I think I am still going to be waiting for 4 - 6 months. That is fantastic though. Are you going through Vermont?
Did you mail a pesonal check with your I-130? If so and it was cashed your case number should be printed on the back and then you can see the status of your NOA1.

Yes, we are going through Vermont. We mailed a personal check and we are going to check now. I have to constantly bug my daughter to do this. She gets so busy at work that she forgets.

I talked with my attorney last week and my husband and I have decided to do the I-129 as well. We figured since our I-130 has been approved for so long our attorney does not know if it is going to work or not so we will only be out of attorney fees if it does not work. Anyway, how do you know what center it will be processed at? Does it depend on where you live? Our attorney said he would have it done within a week so it should be done by the middle of this week.

Well it's hard to say. The old rule was depending on where you lived. Now if you are filing only the I-129F it is where you live and if you file it in connection with an I-130 it gets sent to where the I-130 is pending. Since your I-130 is approved I am not to sure. It may go depending on where you live. It will either be California or Vermont.

Hopefully it will go to VT since I live in Ohio.

My3 - I am not sure. I know if you sent in an I-130 it would have gone to Nebraska where I had to send mine and that is who forwarded my case to California, but who knows. I am not sure how they decide what petitions are forwarded to VT.
