Hello everyone, I'm new to the site! I've actually been a member for almost a month now. But, I am introducing myself a little late. he-he. Well this site has been very helpful to me, and I've found others in the same shoes which helps me see that I'm not the only one! My Fiance and I have been together for almost 4 years, known each other for 7. He was detained by INS in a detention for about 4 months, and then we got the judge to grant him voluntary departure. I'm now trying to figure out what I need to do to petition for him as my fiance and looking for options. He EWI'd in 1997 when he was 17 years old and was here until he voluntarily departed back to Mexico under custody of ICE this past August. He has a misdemeanor for possession of a concealed Weapon from 6 years ago. I'm trying to come up with hardships as his fiance for the I-601. With the little time on this site I have became well informed of many things already. Thanks!
