Approved!!!!

I called yesterday and found out that hubby's waiver is approved!:yay2: The embassy called hubby yesterday also to let him know that he needs to take in the tax stuff from this year and redo the medical exams. The other amazing thing about yesterday is that I was in labor when I called DHS and I had the baby last night at 9:43 PM!! What a day! So we got notice of approved waiver and a new baby girl in the same day.:cheerful: How much God has blessed us! We will be forever grateful to Him for His mercy and grace to us.

so your husband needs to redo the medical exams? my wife also got approved on tuesday she received a call and they told her that her waiver was approved, her medical exams expire Sept 3rd hopefully she has the interview before that day. when they called her they told her it would take anywhere from 2weeks to 1 month before they call her back again and give her a date on her interview. i was just wondering if they told your husband the same thing..

Thanks so much everyone!! Hubby is busily trying to get everything together that they need at the embassy. Reyluna, I posted on your approval thread asking you basically the same thing you asked me. :cheerful: My hubby's medical exams were done last July, so yes, he has to do them again unfortunately. If hubby understood correctly, they said the visa should be 2 weeks from the time he takes all the required documentation to the embassy.

i was reading this thread and i have to say congrats!! i noticed that you were pregnant around the same time your hubby left..and i want to know you must have put that down on your hsl the whole pregnancy was that a big help? or they dont care? the reason why i ask you is because i think i might be pregnant and we are close to sending the DS-230 but waiting on the police certificate but i am starting my hsl but was curious about pregnacies...

salvimami, I didn't use that for the hardship letter because I got pregnant when I went to visit him for the interview, so they actually never knew about it. I did, however use the infant mortality rate argument and the fact that I had miscarriages before and needed good prenatal care.
