Question about timeline NVC

I was wondering does anyone know how long it takes from the time your NVC application gets processed in the US until you get your interview apt in Albania? Can you file your HS at the inteview since we will be denied?

NVC works pretty fast if you will provide them with all info they request on time, it took us 5 months but we had to get some papers and it took some time. Embassy did not let me subbmite waiver the same day of interview. We are in Moscow and they are very harsh to deal with, I subbmited my waiver in a week. It has been over three month since we did that and waiting ....

Thanks Marina... We are going through Albania... I dont think they will let us file our 601 at the same day as the interview..
