Do they send an approval letter?

After the phone call from the embassy that we were approved i have not received any letter in written. Should i wait for one? Or may be just need to go ahead and provide all the additional documents they requested? I am confused! Will i have another appointment? Does anybody know? Please!

If they notified you by phone and asked for more documents, you should submit the documents with a cover letter letting them know who called you, case number and a list of the requested documents. . .don't wait for written if you already got a phone call.

Don't wait for a writing answer get all that they ask for and send it through DHL and keep the bill for it. They don't seem to be very good with letters. I read that they should send notification when they receiving documents but don't think they do it.

I have a question for you, how soon did you get your visa after your approval? I am trying to contact to embassy and find out what should I do next and when will I be able to go home and they just ask me to call them back in a day or so.

i have the same stuatian here too, i got an approval letter from Athen at august 18 and the cairo embassy keep telling me ((call us back we didn't received anything yet from Athens ..)) its been more than a month since te approval dated august 8 ..
What should i do ??
How long should we wait ??

I got my visa a month later. They requested additional documents ( police record medical exam and updated aplication) it took a month of me to put it all together. After i send it to the embassy the visa arrived within the next 7 days

In our case, it took US Embassy in Poland almost a month to receive an approval letter. I received letter from Frankfurt in 3 weeks after approval date.
