Its in the signature. Note: Its not in my timeline, but it took 3 weeks to get a US Passport.

Also, the Mexican Consulate schedules appointments about 6 months out in Atlanta for passports. We went without an appt and we were there for about 6 hours. Just a heads up!

Wanted to add that we had hubby's mom to get 2 more certified copies of his birth certificate and mail them on 6/13/08. They took about a week to get here through regular postal mail. That was coming from Veracruz, MX to Georgia, US. Don't know if this helps anyone, but figured it was worth adding.

Also, make sure you check hubby's birth certificate for date of birth and date it was recorded. When he went to get his passport they noticed that his parents, for whatever reason, didn't file his birth until 6 years AFTER he was born. So that means he could only get a passport valid for one year. He will need one of his parents' birth certificates or a siblings' in order to renew. Just a heads up.
