Does anyone really know about expediting I-601?

Does anyone have information on Expedited service for I-601?
We were granted expedited service for the interview.. It was for July 30 and they changed to June 25th. I was told to send my request to GuatemalaIV @state.gov, I did this and they gave it to us based on our sons Chemotherapy treatment. At the interview my wife was denied her visa and we filed the I-601. I asked the man doing the interview if we would be given expedited service for the I-601 also. He replied "I don't know you will have to ask the DHS about that". I have sent 2 more e-mails to the same GuatemalaIV e-mail and they have yet to answer.

Is there any phone number or e-mail that is the best to check on this?

Previously, when I was told to send the e-mail asking for expedited service, the e-mail mentioned expediting of the I-601 is possible.

The problem I have with this is, you can't find information anywhere.

Maybe they are giving it to us, but we have no way of knowing because they haven't shared this information with us.

Well, I guess I am just wanting my wife home now, not later.

I am sorry I don't have answers to your questions. However, I wrote the same type of email and never got a response. If you find out, I would be interested in knowing also.
I am having my son-in-law ask them at the Embassy on Friday when he has his interview.

You need to request it through the dept of homeland security there at the consulate.

you can request it yourself or have your senator or US representative or your lawyer do it.

You just put together why you need the expedite and fax or email or courier or however you can get it to them.

You just make your strongest case.

I don't know if there is an expedited process for the I 601. At my interview, February 22, 2007, we asked if there was a "wormhole" process for the waiver. Unfortunantly, everyone has to wait their turn even if there are health concerns.
