Finally!! Rome responded to an email I sent a month ago. They said my husbands waivers have been assigned to a immigration officer for review!! Does anyone know how long this could take and how do they inform me of the decision once its made?? Finally could be an end to this immigration waiting hell!!??

I don't know the answer to your question but I'm certainly glad there's finally some movement on your case. I pray it ends happily. BTW, are you going to change your user id once it's all over? :p

I don't know the answer either, but it sure is good news that there is movement in the right direction. I so hope that you hear soon.

Our DIL's waiver went through Lima, but we know that the OIC had it on his desk in late December because he called our lawyer. We finally learned of the approval on Feb 6. So it can take sometime even after it has gone to an adjudicator.

Holding a good thought for you and your family to reunite soon. :)

I think she should keep the user name, it is very much earned at this point.

Oh Neverending that's great news! Maybe you can email Rome again and see? Can you check the waiver on their web site? Surely it wont be long now! I hope your family is reunited soon!
