Has anyone requested a copy of their immigration record? According to the Freedom of Information Act you can get one, just not sure where to start.

I've never done an FOIA through USCIS, though. Wondering if anyone knows how long it takes ...

I think it takes like 6-12 months actually. It's a good idea if you have a lot of time, but it does take forever.

Hey...would you experienced filers take a look at my thread on doing a FOIA with the DOL, if you get a chance :)
