Grape Tomatoes

Gosh, I just harvested 2 gallons of grape tomatoes. I thought for a little while there I was going to have to go and hire a crew to help me get them picked!
Next year, I only need ONE plant, not 4.

Grape tomatoes are great with salads and pastas. I love them. :D

My all time favorite food - tomatoes - grape, cherry, big girls, little girls, big boys, little boys, sweet 100's, heirlooms, cherry, roma, beefsteaks, and on and on.

The tomatoes that are grown here in SoCal are not near as good as the ones grown in the Ohio Valley, where I am from. I would go out in the tomatoe patch with the salt shaker and just veg out! I used to like them sort of on the green side. Now I like them very ripe. I like them anyway.

Right now our favorite is caprese salad with fresh mozarella, fresh basil, s and p, olive oil, bread and lots of wine......

Another favorite with fresh tomatoes is to just put them in the oven quartered with olive oil, s and p, and fresh basil and garlic, and let them cook about 350 until they are soft. Then toss with spaghettini. Just to die for.....

Did I tell you that I love tomatoes!!!

Always have always will......

I have a small, sweet 100 bush just outside. It just gives enough candies to pop in your mouth when you go in or out.
