So we got home yesterday at 3am. Finally he's home it's been a year and 8months. I can't believe it. But it's all over and done and we can finally live our lives. So we'll see how long it takes for the greencard and social to come.

So hubby went today and got his old job back and more money per hour. Rock on!! :elvis:

pick up went ok

we were in CDJ on Wednesday, went for the medical on Thursday. On Friday he went completely prepared with 3 files full cause I wasn't playing this time lol. So he was there at 7am and came back to the hotel room at 11:30/12ish I thought he was done, he said no I don't have enough money. leave it to my man to not take enough money. So he went back with enough pesos to pay for the visa "again" and came back to the hotel at 4:35pm. He said that there were quite a few people leaving the consulate crying. Sadness I tell ya. But we got the visa, went back to Mexico City, then left out on Wednesday morning to come home. We went through Atlanta POE. It was actually easier than I thought. Also I do recommend atleast a 2 hour layover if you have to switch planes just to be careful. All in all I don't want to go through this mess anymore, but I'm sticking around to try and help the next person :innocent:

he's adjusting ok. It's chaos at the moment but it's soon to settle down I hope. The dogs love their daddy. And the puppy who's not a puppy anymore remembered him even though he woofed him up until we opened the door. lol The other problem is that my puppy talks and I taught him to say something. I say "who's your daddy?" and he says "wentworth" lol :D as in Wentworth Miller from Prison Break. Hubby's not too thrilled about it, but they're enjoying daddy being home.

I am so glad that this has ended for you. It took us about 3 weeks to get the green card and the social never came..we went this past Tuesday to the office and they said it would take 7-14 days

Congratulations! I have been with my sweetie for a month now, and those 7 months of separation have finally been put into the category of a "memory". He just got his green card yesterday. We are going to go to the SS office soon to get his card, sine it seems it rarely works through checking that little box.

I haven't been online as much, but I agree, I plan to stay around to help those who come next... but luckily with the pilot program there won't be quite as many.
