Thanks goodness for some honest folks out there!

So, over a week ago (the day before pay day, of course) I went to dinner with my daughter and a good friend. My bank account was drained, so I resorted to my visa. I guess I got distracted and forgot to get it our of the the leather folder thingy and I left without it. It took me a couple days to even realize it was missing (of course because I then had cash in my checking account and didn't need to reach for the credit card-hehe). When i realized it was missing I retraced my steps and looked at my account history online and realized the restaurant was the last place I used it....AND no more charges after that. I didn't want to call immediately and cancel it because it had just been replaced when there had been some internet fraud on it, AND it's the emergency card my husband has in Mexico. So, I finally called the restaurant today (yes, 10 days later) and THEY HAVE IT! Restores your faith in mankind!!! Whew~

Now that is nice. I wonder why they didn't get in touch with Visa, though.

I know...I was half expecting their answer to be that they shred all unclaimed credit cards to protect themselves or something...I am going after work to pick it up!
