601's in Vermont tend to be taking around 13 months (give or take) Take a look at PinkPig's spreadsheet for specific cases and time periods.

What is YVR? Vancouver?

sorry abt delay

YVR is vancouver indeed. The spredsheet doesn't have great deal of info on the current cases logged (if any) at vancouver.

It's the same as Montreal for waivers, so just compare the two. . .As you said before the waiver will go to Vermont (all Canadian waivers do)

Just be thankful you're not going through Montreal.

It takes about the same time as I-212. Now a days vermont is working on November 2007 cases.

AG--I had originally hoped that they were keeping track with the I-212's too, but I've been talking to people going through Canada/Vermont who haven't gotten a result AND filed much earlier than November 2007. Hopefully they will speed up!

I HATE to be the barer of bad news.....BUT My husband and I have been fighting this immigration crap for over 2 years acctualy close to 2.5 years. I have a NEW baby who was planned and was truly a miracle as we had to go through fertility treatment when he was able to come up to Canada for a visit. It has been and is EXTREMELY hard....I would never wish any of this on anyone!!!

Our daughter is 3 months old now and I feel so bad that my hubby is missing out on all the changes. I NEVER planed on being a "single" mom....it truly was NOT in my plan but it seems to have happened. Its the hardest thing I have ever done but it is truly worth it!!!!

We feel if we can get through all this we can get through anything :D

I had my interview on Jan. 17/08.....so I am hoping we will hear soon but the sad truth is that it could still be a long time......it frustrates me to no end. I do not understand how they can keep ppl waiting for so long.

I wish you all the best!!!
