Congratulations! Your approval will give others hope and inspiration! What was your waiver for? Did you use a lawyer? Will this be for a CR-1?
Lika Moscow Ukraine Approved 1-Oct-07 17-Jun-08 Overstay - 3 year ban Spouse-CR-1 No lawyer
I love marking approved on the I2US spreadsheet!
It was I-601 waiver for a 3-years ban (overstay for less then a year), for CR-1. I didn't use a lawyer, just red the approved hardship letters on immigrate2us and tryed to do my best on writing mine.
We don't have kids in our marriage or health problems. So, everything is possible!!! Just need to twist your brain and work hard on your hardship letter.
I wish all the best to all of you who still waiting! I wish you hear "APPROVED!" as soon as possible!

Thanks for the information. I have added it. We will look forward to adding your approved letter to our approved letter section as soon as you add it. Good Luck with the return to the US. We wish you and your family the best.

I got a phone call from the US Embassy in Kiev on June 20. They told me that they got an information from Moscow about my waiver approval, and I have to bring my passport with an updated police record, and get my visa. No interview!

Congradulations Lika!
May I ask you Lika what phone number your husband called, it has been three month since we filed a waiver at the Moscow DHS and they told us that we could write them after a month so we wrote them two month after and it has been two weeks and still did not get any replay, even they saying that it takes them three days to answer. I was wondering were you getting any updates on your case all that time you have waited or you just waited? When we tryed to call the number they gave us all they had to say that case at the DHS and no details.

I don't think you can check your case status online. We just waited. I never called them to find out the case status. Was too scared to hear taht we were denied or something.

My attorney send me an e mail and i received a letter from the embassy one week later. After the appeal they called me to let me know we were approved and what docs i need to submit. I have not received a letter yet. I dont even know if i will.

Here is a phone number my husband called (Moscow DHS) 495-255-9551. He didn't send them e-mails, but made the phone calls every week. They always answered his questions about our case (like - what kind of documents they are waiting or requested).
