My friend is dating a woman who is here in the us illegally....
They are in love and want to get married.....

They know what I went through with my husband so they want to know if they should go to back to her country and get married there...

She was robbed here in NYC and does not have any papers......

No passport no visa can she even leave......

????????

Should they just chance it and hope they wont have this bad luck we have....

Also I have a cousin who got married in March of this year and she was here illegally for 3 years and she married a US citizen and their interview took 3 minutes and no question of overstay????

there is a difference between an overstay and entering illegally. If your cousin entered legally and overstayed, that's "forgiven" when she married a USC and filed the paperwork.

did you friend enter legally or ? She probably needs to contact her embassy/consulate to get replacement papers and she can also file to get a I94 replacement if she entered legally.
