The pictures look so apocalyptic, yet so beautiful. Do you do mostly landscapes?

wow those are beautiful! how do you get them to look like that? is it a wide-angle lens? how do you get the sky to look like that?

I'm using an ultra wide angle lens which works great for landscapes. Also, I'm able to get this effect by combining 3 pictures together. One is overexposed, one correctly exposed and one that is underexposed. Photoshop gets all the information together to make one perfect photo.
