Okay.... I hired a lawyer to prepare our waiver packet and I have some questions from all of you experienced people about a few things they did that I think should be or could be different as the packet is 3-4 inches thick and I don't believe it needs to be.

G325-A Lawyer included an updated version of this but is it necessary for the waiver packet?
Medical descriptions of health conditions from the NIH. Some of the pages for these are just the end credits..... could I take those out as they are just making the packet thicker then necessary?
Would it be okay to print front and back for these things, so long as when they lift the page up they don't have to turn the packet over to read it?
My lawyer has two copies of medical bills from my husbands surgeries for two things she referenced them to.... one should be enough and reference the same pages twice .... correct?
Laywer included all the "proof of relationship stuff again... copies of pics, cards, life insurance policies... etc." is this necessary?

Hello - Yes, the updated G325A Biographical Data is needed for the waiver. You don't need the stuff that establishes the relationship because it is already established. I read in Laurel's tips somewhere on the site that you shouldn't but that stuff in there cause it isn't needed.
I don't know the answer to the other questions. I wouldn't do front and back because they probably just like to flip thru it. Best wishes on your big day!

hi longing,
wow, im so nervous for you. Im not sure about some of the things, i think the pics are unnecessary and so is a birth certificate and stuff like that. As for the life insurance, im not too sure, i mean it could be part of the argument. if the brief is well done, it shouldnt matter how thick it is....if stuff is in there twice, and it is referenced to the same place, then take the copy out...if not i would leave it. good luck,

Yes, you need this.

I only included the necessary pages and highlighted what I wanted them to see.

Would it be okay to print front and back for these things, so long as when they lift the page up they don't have to turn the packet over to read it?
I would personally leave everything single sided.

My lawyer has two copies of medical bills from my husbands surgeries for two things she referenced them to.... one should be enough and reference the same pages twice .... correct?
Just remember that you want to keep it simple for the person adjudicating your packet. So if the exhibits are in order corresponding to the letter, then I would probably put it in there both times.

Laywer included all the "proof of relationship stuff again... copies of pics, cards, life insurance policies... etc." is this necessary?
You don't need to prove your relationship again but I had an attorney tell me that it doesn't hurt to put some pictures in there so they at least can put a human face to the letter they're reading. It's a little bit of psychology. Make them tell that beautiful family no.

This is why I'm asking.... my lawyer told me that if there was anything wrong or that needed changed they would do it..... so I think they should take out the duplicates and change the reference to both point to the same one.

That one's going to be up to you. I would probably just leave that part the way it is.
