RE: Mr. Silymaury
Case Number: CDJxxxxxxxxx

American Consulate General
Av. Lopez Mateos 924 Nte
Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico

To Whom It May Concern:
I, Silymaury, a citizen of the United States, am writing this letter in regards to my petition of the I-601 Waiver of Ground of Inadmissibility for my husband of almost four years Mr.Silymaury. My husband came to the United States in April 2001, when he was only 17 years old. He lived in Houston, Texas from April 2001 to September 2001, Los Angeles, California from September 2001 to June 2002, and Omaha, Nebraska from June 2002 to June 2007. We then moved to Houston, Texas together in June 2007. He came to the United States in hope of a better life and a better future. He is a very noble and humble person, very down to earth. Although he came into this country illegally, he has always abided by all the laws that are in place; therefore he has a clean criminal record. While in the United States, he has dedicated his time to working hard and supporting his family in Mexico. This letter is to show that if my husband were not allowed back into the United States, I would suffer extreme hardship if this waiver were not approved. Mr. Silymaury is the love of my life and the man that I would like to start a family with and spend the rest of my life with.

Our Family Background
Mr. Silymaury, and I met on October 12th, 2003 at a concert in Omaha, Nebraska. He was twenty years old and I was seventeen. We became inseparable since then, especially because this was a very difficult time for me. My parents had recently separated; I lived with my mother, MOMS NAME who was pregnant, and my sister SISTERS NAME who was eight years old at the time. Mr. Silymaury and I became an official couple on November 23rd, 2003. On November 25th, 2003, my brother BROS NAME was born premature at 26 weeks. BROTHER, as we call him, spent approximately nineteen weeks in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). My mother was in and out of the hospital during the time Fabian was in NICU. The only person who helped me during this time was Mr. Silymaury. He would help me care for my mother, my sister, and my brother since I was still in school and I worked at Target, to help my mother pay bills since she was emptying her savings account and wasn’t working due to her illness. On April 1st, 2004 when BRO was discharged from the NICU, my mom was in the hospital for kidney failure; I had to take full responsibility of BRO and SIS. At this time I quit my job and dedicated most of my time to caring for my siblings and my sick mother. To maintain ourselves and pay our bills, we used Fabian’s social security money and my mother’s social security money, along with child support income from my father. Mr.Silymaury never left my side during this time, helped me care for my family. In August of 2004, we decided to get engaged and get married July 23rd, 2005 in our local church. However, we decided to move our wedding date to November 23rd, 2004, and have a simple wedding, because my mother was becoming very ill, and was in the process of a kidney transplant scheduled for March 1st, 2005. On November 23rd, 2004,Mr. Silymaury and I decided to join our lives together to help my mother since she was not working, and to take care of my siblings. Mr. Silymaury moved into my mother’s house with me. Due to the fact that Mr. Silymaury never left our side through this very difficult stage in my family’s life, my mother , my sister , my brother, and I have been extremely grateful to him. Living through this difficult time has made us become a very close family. Please review the attached letters from my mother, and my sister in regards to their relationships with my husband.

Medical Hardship:
I Silymaury currently have medical, dental, and vision coverage through my employer. It is imperative that I have health insurance, because I go to the doctor very often for my sinuses, allergies, and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Recently I went to the doctor because I was experiencing shortness of breath and insomnia. I was prescribed Ambien CR to help me sleep better
I Silymaury, have a gynecological disorder know as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). [TALK ABOUT PCOS AND WHAT IT IS HERE]This disorder began shortly after I turned 13. I had irregular menstrual cycles and had to put on birth control to regulate them. Mr. Silymaury and I have always wanted to have a baby of our own. In 2006 I talked to my doctor about my infertility she began prescribing me provera and clomid. [EXPLAIN WHAT THEY ARE AND WHAT THEY DO]. After 3 unsuccessful treatments of Provera and Clomid, I began to start getting depressed because I couldn’t have a child. In November 2007 after we moved to Houston and I had health insurance, I decided to go see a gynecologist. I have been through three Prometrium and Clomid treatments to attempt to conceive, these treatments have been unsuccessful. I am currently taking Metformin or Glucophage [EXPLAIN WHAT IT IS] this is supposed to help me have regular cycles. It is important that I conceive soon

I also suffer from sinuses and allergies, I am currently taking Claritin an antihistamine, and Flonase a nasal spray that will help me breathe better at night.

That's all i got so far.....feedback???

Hey there...I would condence the first paragraph and remove the sentence re: where he has lived. They do not care to see this in your letter since they have this information from the Biographical form that you submitted with the I-130 and the updated one you submit at the waiver interview.

I agree with DeBenny. Shorten up the 1st two paragraphs. Alot of the infromation is not needed and you don't want to give the adjuncter too much information. I feel the following infrmation is not needed.

He lived in Houston, Texas fom April 2001 to September 2001, Los Angeles, California from September 2001 to June 2002, and Omaha, Nebraska from June 2002 to June 2007. We then moved to Houston, Texas together in June 2007.

He is a very noble and humble person, very down to earth

Although he came into this country illegally,

While in the United States, he has dedicated his time to working hard and supporting his family in Mexico.

At this time I quit my job and dedicated most of my time to caring for my siblings and my sick mother. To maintain ourselves and pay our bills, we used Fabian’s social security money and my mother’s social security money, along with child support income from my father.

The medical hardships are all good, but you need to explain why these medical issues will not allow you to move to mexico or why you need your husband here to help you.

It is a good start.

I am very nervous because i do not feel safe in Juarez at all...his appointment is July 7th and July 9th we are flying back to his hometown. He has our truck down in his town, so we have to go pick it up if we drive back together...

The problem is i get to el paso an hour before my hubby...i am thinking about calling alfredo to pick me up and drop me off at los cedros or at the juarez airport so i can wait for my hubby. I don't know what to do yet...I would rather just be dropped off at the hotel so i don't have to be in a car too long in that place...
