As everyone knows, my hubby went to the consulate to do his document check for his interview tomorrow. Well two things happened that got me worried. when my husband first got up to the window to give his documents he right away stated that he needed to give them his corrected ds-230 I AND II.The guy said "why we have all of those forms" my hubby was very patient and stated again" There were some data entry errors on the one that was submitted to the visa center these are the corrected forms. The guy would not even look at the forms and said" We do not need those forms". Then when they called hm back up to the front for his fingerprints, They said his first and last name correctly but added on a different last name they repeated this incorrect second last name about 3 times my hubby got up and went to the window and said i am A.m.g not A.m.l they said oh yeah put your hands on the ink pad WTH I am praying that they did not have him mixed up with anyone else's fingerprints. I guess we are ok on that one because they do have his fingerprints in the fbi system for his one arrest for his fta for a traffic violation and they will be able to tell if the fingerprints do not match. but what about the ds-230 thing? My hubby says that when he goes in tomorrow, that he is going to talk to them about the forms again and make them understand nicely though. Has this happened to anyone else? Thanks for listening to me ramble on and on like a crazy women.

My husband goes for document check on Wednesday. What was wrong on the D2-230 forms? Anything major? Did your husband have to pay for fingerprints?

Wow, just have him tell his immigration official about this! Was the guy rude to him?

no major mistakes but still what was that guys problem? My hubby said that he would not even look him in the face when he was talking to him. my husband just left about 15 min ago to go to his interview and he said he was going to tell them that he tried to submit the corrected forms and the guy would not let him. i have been praying that he does not get the same guy if he does, i am going to have to contact mr.b's ofc and see if anything can be done because the updated forms need to be in his file.

My honey said that they gave him a sheet of paper with his infor & they ask them to check to make sure everything is correct. So have your honey check twice before he walks out of the Consulate...Good Luck!!!
