Waiver Approved!!!!!!

OHHHH MY GOD!!!! My husband called today and DHS told him over the phone that my waiver was approved on June 9th and working right now on processing my visa. OHHHH MY GOD. It took almost 16 weeks, but once you receive the notice it is the happiest day besides my childrens birth that has happened to us.
I think about all of you...and lilikoi....YOU WILL SEE ME IN THE US AND I WILL BE TALKING TO YOU EVERY DAY TIL YOU GET HOME:bounce::bounce::bounce:

Is this a K-3 or an IR-1, Cr-1 visa? Did you use a lawyer? What was the waiver for? overstay, F/M, or CIMT?

Pinkpig it was an IR-1 Visa ....Yes we did a lawyer and she was worse the money. My waiver was for an overstay.

Congrats!~!!!!What is the number for DHS? I called DC, they told me DHS is a totally different department, they couldn't transfer me. Is it possible to provide me with the correct digits?

Ok Sara and for all of you. My husband and I couldnt get through at DHS at the Consulat in Frankfurt. It was just ringing and ringing. So I found a phone number in the US for DHS and they were very helpful and friendly at all time when they did talk to my husband. They never said we were bothering them. Most of the time they could just tell us it was being worked on and pending, but Monday they said it was approved. Yesterday I received a letter from USCIS in Frankfurt saying our waiver was granted and now to wait for the Department of State that is processing our visa and will send it to us.

Here is the number in the US for DHS
1-202-663-1225 then press Number 1 and then again press Number 0

Hope you guys have luck. Thanks to all of you and I will be checking in to see how everybody is doing.

Thanks everybody!!! Once the waiver was approved ...the passport and visa were here very fast. I received them Friday....and FLYING HOME TOMORROW.
I will check in and tell everybody how it went and how the Atlanta airport was...cant believe my baby boy and I are flying home to hubby and little daughter.

Thats awesome news! Congrats! I remember my hubby getting that approval letter and just being overcomed with shock and excitement...it was totally unexpected at the time and I couldn't help but cry, shake and keep hugging him!
