I am thinking about lot of upcoming news, it about days no news and no postings we need to call or e-mail to accra to know if things are moving or are stopping in the right way without interfere nobody job, i understand that is better to not call, but we also need info or progress, we are in standby on our life and duty. :waiting:

Mr. Dakar--Do you have a receipt from Accra stating that they received the I-601? I believe there was a posting several months back by 4nellag that had the direct line and the correct number to push to speak with someone at the consulate. Best of luck to you and keep us posted. no, i filed on the end of may, i am waiting on the receipt it will probably tell me the estimate time of process, i am waiting to see.it is any body who receipt say the estimate process time? i am waiting to see what will happen every body keep they finger across

From my experience, Accra did not send any receipt letter. I had to call them the entire time. Use +233 217 41000 and dial extension 1561 before anyone answers the phone. This way, you save valuable time, and bypass the guy that asks you, "how may I direct your call?" This extension takes you to the lady that seems to have access to case status.

You're correct. Although there is no garantee that she will always answer once that extension is entered.

The other way I will suggest mr. Dakar will find out is to call his local embassy where he filed. They should know.

The local consulates will tell you that they only receive the waiver package and forward it on to Ghana. I think the only receipt you get is the one from the cash register. If you call the officer in Ghana she will give you the exact date she received the application(s).
