hey guys...sorry if this is in the wrong section...just move me if it is...once again hehe since i know i said that in one of my post already.
alright well...ive been reading about the ban and here is what question i came up with.
how would i prove that i spent my 10 years outside the states...i didnt get any letter or anything about it...my ban is due to overstay of a visa.
they just took that nice little yellow paper out of my passport and sent me on my marry little way.
so can i like uhmmm...ask someone...write to someone so they could send me some kind of prove that i left the us on a specific date?
i know the date...itll stay branded in my head forever d'oh.
im just wondering cause if/ when i file again dont i have to prove that i was outside the states for 10 years?
thanks in advance to anyone who has answers about that

Are you asking about proof that you left the US? If so, what about your return ticket to where you were sent back to.

I am thinking that you can request a copy of your I-94, that they took out of your passport when you left. Look under gov't forms, or maybe someone will chime in with the number of the form. I don't have time to look for it at the moment.

If you know the date, then that is likely to be the date USCIS knows too!
For most of us who need to reunite families this is not a game of date guessing it is a toil.
I wish you the very best when you decide to start this horrible process!

hey guys thanks for the responses.
well the I94 would tell them when i got there not when i left right?
i didnt have removal procedures or anything like that...i left on my own without having anything filed with the USCIS...long story short...yeah i left cause of family issues back home.
i know i overstayed my I94 and am having the ban
i still have my ticket from the day i left...im not sure if the I94 would tell them when i left but hrmmm
thats something to find out about i guess
im just wondering about it cause well if you apply for a visa after your 10 years are up they could still deny me saying that i have that ban.
ok i know im prolly confusing everyone right now...how do they know that i left? without those procedures and all that?
is there anything i can get...anyone i can call to get prove that i left on that and that date?
im just wondering...i know its gonna be a long long time from now but its on my mind and you guys always help me so much with my questions.
im so happy i found this site.

I am assuming that becuase you said "ticket" that you left by airplane.
When you leave the US, the airline takes your I-94. The airline gives the I-94 to ICE and they record your date of departure.
ICE don't worry about you legal status at exit - becuase you are leaving - but they will have recorded the date of your departure.
The only way they wouldn't record it is if you exited without inspection and they don't know you have gone.
