:bang: OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is unbelievable. I've been going crazy for the past 8 months for the fact that my husband has still not attended a drug rehab meeting or any metting as a matter of fact. he finally had something setup and it looked like he was finally going to get serious about it and start attending these rehab meetings but once it looked like it was going to go smooth the lady that conducts the programs went on vacation and she has been on vacation for like a month. i dont ge it what gives. it's the end of august already and he still doesn't have anything to show for his attempted rehab and he has already served almost 9 months of his 3 year bar. ahh i can't take it:bang: i dont know could he be lying to me because he doesn't want to go, i even sent him money for him to pay anf go to these meetings but nothing nothing at all. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this makes me so mad.
i lready told him he's prolonging time by not going, it seems like i care more about his return than he does.:bang::mad:

Roxy, this is also a belated reply to your thread. The reason
I send this is only because I am curious about the vacation
that you mention. The one where the counselor and Rehab
instructor went for months at a time.

Another curiousity that struck me fishy is you sending him
money to pay for his rehab.

Now I do not live or have ever been to New Jersey, so I
do not know how that Rehab program is run, or if it cost
any money for people that are ordered by a court to attend
as a pre-condition of merits for release, to go to rehab.

I was just wondering, I mean, after eight months, your guy
should have enough sense to write the court a letter and
explain why he is late, Geeeezzzzz Roxy, tell the guy to
inform the court immediately ---- if it is true about the
vacation that you mention.

Good luck
Elmoticky

And if he cannot prove rehabiliation and hasn't followed the consulate's rules regarding submitting drug test results, he won't qualify once the three years are up.

Persons who admit during the medical exam to using an illegal drug within the last three years, or who are found with these substances in their system after drug screening, are inadmissible as drug abusers. There is an exception for mere experimentation (single use). There is no waiver for this medical ground, but applicants who have been in remission for three years since the last drug use can reapply for the visa. The consulate will keep the case open during this period. They should come prepared with evidence that they have undergone drug counseling or similar rehabilitation

Sorry Roxy, I jumped to conclusions by assuming that
your guy was somewhere in the U.S. penal system. My
bad, the first in my life.
