My I-601 waiver for my fiancee went through Accra as well, and took about 5 months to be processed and approved, and another 10 weeks to be transfered back to Lagos and get an interview date. Ours was a medical waiver so I am not sure if it's the same time frame as other I-601 cases.

You are welcome and you are right. Each case is different and to get an approval you must prove your hardships with documentation.

Good luck to you.

Hi Pinkpig,

Well, that is a very good question...

I am sure it is not...but, the only way I can update it is if someone posts here on the site with their results.

So many members leave and never come back and tell us of their results. Also I do not read every thread anymore, so I miss some. If you have any updates please let me know and I will make changes.

I do feel that this is the most up to date public data base of waiver filers that exists.

Mr. Dakar....sorry to hijack your thread but I have always wanted to go to Senegal! My daughter did a report on the country 2 years ago. Hmmm, what can you share or where would you recommend to go?

Fellow Dakar filer here.........have not yet filed that is, but waiting to get the money together for the attorney, looking to file I-601 in about 2 months or so for misrep.
Why were you denied ?
Wish we had more people on this board going through Ghana.
