My wife had the call last week that the visa was coming in 5 days (the waiver is approved). So after 5 days waiting I emailed the embassy. They responded that there is an urgent need for new fingerprints or she can't be processed.
She travlled the 1,000 miles to Sydney today to do the fingerprints. Now they say the visa will be processed tomorrow.
Nearly $1,000 in airfares and taxi fares to get re-fingerprinted:wha:!! But at least its back to proceeding:thumbup:.
